Dr Katherine Russell-Smith is a Clinical Psychologist with over 13 years of experience working across private practice and school settings with children, adolescents, and adults.
Katherine supports clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression and mood concerns, family and relationship challenges, and adjustment to life changes and stressors.
Katherine bases her practice on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment-informed approaches including Circle of Security. Her work is collaborative and person-centred, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
Warmth, respect, and genuine connection underpin Katherine’s approach. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and supported, and where practical strategies can be developed to enhance mental health and overall wellbeing.
